my personal manifesto

i first wrote this some months ago, and have recently updated it- nothing is concrete, and this is just a loose document outlining my beliefs. if you disagree with me you're wrong by the way. :>

i think that as human beings, we should all simply decide to be un-profound and completely un-revolutionary. firstly, i mean that in a technological sense; the science and technology industries have both become oversaturated and inundated with completely meaningless, overrated useless "creations", that often just expand a little bit on an already existing product. for example, a.i. we do not need to have a.i generated movies, art pieces, songs, or even influencers, for crying out loud! i could rant and rave all day about the perils and shortcomings of artifical intelligence- and especially my hatred for a.i tech bros. if you like a.i, KILL YOURSELF! (though i do predict that 2024 is the year it dies out and loses relevancy in the media, because people will quickly realise that you cannot replace something humans made with a souless imitation.)
here's a really great quote from the godlike and genius nick cave:

"Data doesn’t suffer. ChatGPT has no inner being, it has been nowhere, it has endured nothing, it has not had the audacity to reach beyond its limitations, and hence it doesn’t have the capacity for a shared transcendent experience, as it has no limitations from which to transcend. ChatGPT’s melancholy role is that it is destined to imitate and can never have an authentic human experience, no matter how devalued and inconsequential the human experience may in time become... This is what we humble humans can offer, that AI can only mimic, the transcendent journey of the artist that forever grapples with his or her own shortcomings. This is where human genius resides, deeply embedded within, yet reaching beyond, those limitations... a grotesque mockery of what it is to be human, and, well, I don’t much like it."
